Stephen Rouch’s Marathon Swim Story

Today we found out more about how Stephen Rouch, who was the subject of my first Deep Dive Marathon Swim Story episode back in January, gained confidence to go for a 50 mile double crossing of Lake Memphremagog in 2019. If you haven’t heard it, be sure to listen to or watch the retelling of Stephen’s big swim!

A childhood swimmer, who was more familiar with running marathons later in life, Stephen came on the marathon swimming scene in 2014 and quickly caught the bug. Just a few years later, Stephen ventured off to Arizona in late April and not only completed the 4 day, 40+ mile SCAR Swim Challenge, he won the belt buckle! Thus fueling the most prolific year efforts that earned him the Marathon Swimming Federation Bara Award.

Get all the details in this episode.

Enjoy.
